There were no cast engine mounts available for a series of large V8 Diesel Engines, destined for newly built ships.
We replicated a cast sample and machined them from solid medium strength steel pieces.
Each piece was detailed with webs for strengthening.
The final part was electro galvanised for finish and protection.
There’s always a way to make something from nothing, given the skill and equipment.
